Zero X Electric Motorcycle Unveiled for 2009

Zero Motorcycles has revealed their flagship 2009 ZERO X Electric Motorcycle and its faster, stronger, more capable and looks slicker too.

If I had the spare cash or was in the market for a new motorcycle, I'd seriously consider moving to electric. I might miss the howl of the exhaust when I twist it up to a buck twenty but there's something supremely zen and awesome about a nearly silent and damned quick motorcycle.

Truth be told, I'd love to work for these guys because the tech rocks, the market is going to explode and, hey, its a two wheel world where I live!

Props to the Electric Motorcycle Forum.

Stand Up Bike Makes Kids Work Harder

Seat-less bike design promises fitter children because they can't rest by sitting down on the bike.

But they aren't really pedalling when they ride this thing, the motion is more like a stepper or elliptical.

But the cool thing is that the rear hub stores extra energy and it can be used to help power up hills.
