We are in the process of weaning Grady from his training wheels on his, now too small, bike. While he did really, really well without him, he's not emotionally ready to remove them for good just yet. But he's getting better and better and only forgets that he needs to put his feet down when he comes to a stop.
I can't wait until he's off the training wheels because it'll open up a whole new world for both of us (he gets easily high-centered on any off-road riding now).
I'm in no big hurry though because of how much I have riding around with my boys now. But I know even better times are ahead and that just makes me really excited!
