Reelight: The Motion-Powered Bike Light that harnesses your spinning wheel to generate a little light facing forward and back to make you more visible to traffic.
It reminds me of the old system of a little geared looking thing running on top of your tire to do the same thing but alot less efficiently. LED lights help that as well as using an induction system to cut down on wheel speed lost to friction.
It needs a battery back up so that the light stays on when you stop moving but otherwise, this is a great, great idea that I hope gets used alot. More safety is almost never a bad thing.
