I rode my bike to work last Wednesday. It was 27 miles each way. I made it in 1:35 going to work fighting a headwind the entire ride. On the way home which is more uphill, I actually made it home 5 minutes faster at 1:30. Sure was nice to have that afternoon tailwind pushing me along, and amazing that it could knock 5 minutes off my ride. The high temp for that day was 88. Tomorrow I'm going to ride in again, and it's supposed to be a bit hotter, like mid to upper 90's. So I'll be cooking on the way home for sure.
