Bike rider in Boulder Creek hit by car, dies at scene and that's pretty tragic. Only thing is that the guy was riding a gravity bike and bombing the hill without brakes. Which is just plain stupid on a road as a busy as Highway 9.
Still a bummer and all but a pretty avoidable bummer. I feel bad for the person who killed him because they weren't speeding or doing anything to be any more dangerous than a car driving down the road. And now they have to deal with the fact that they killed someone.
