Tivo tips for the Tour de France

Hint: If you're thinking about recording some of the 2005 Tour de France stages this year, don't record the live broadcasts early in the morning. There is just too much footage (~5 hours..), and it takes forever to get through it all. I've found that what works best for me is to record the repeat showing each day at 11AM or maybe 11:30AM, something like that. But it's a 2 hour condensed show with all of the major action & highlights. Plus sometimes when you record the live broadcasts the finish may get cut off and that sucks.
